Grown in the farm El Tulipán, Pinchote, north of the eastern mountain range, Santander province, a region where coffee cultivation was introduced in Colombia. In this privileged area for its rich biodiversity, moderate dry climate and high solar radiation, coffee grows in the shade of native forests that contribute to the conservation of wildlife especially birds. The shade of the forest gives the cup of coffee exquisite herbal notes and light citric sensations.
This coffee has been selected for the size and quality of its grain, to provide a balanced cup profile with pronounced aroma, medium acidity and medium body.
CAFÉ CASA MARTÍNEZ producer farm is located in Pinchote village, Santander province, Colombia, 320 km northeast of Bogotá city, at 1615 metres above sea level, in the east mountain range of Colombia and belongs to the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia Sustainable Coffee Kachalú group farms.
